River Weaver
Upstream from B5074 bridge (Barony Road W3W directions -develop.propelled.incorrect) to far end of Coed Wen (W3W directions - giggled.improvised.squaring).
The river is ideal for stalking tactics, trotting a stick float through some of the runs, or quiver tip the bends and under overhanging trees.
The river holds good numbers of chub, which will be tempted by maggot or lure, and the occasional trout.
Safety on the River
Please take care at all times while fishing the river - although shallow in a few places after a prolonged dry spell, there are still deep holes.
Remember
In 2016, more anglers drowned than professional sea fishermen.
