NAS would like to share some exciting news with you all!
NAS started a project last summer which will be ongoing over the next few years and I wanted to share some insight about what we have been up too.
Hatherton Lodge Pool:
The lodge pool was stocked at the start of the year with Crucians and Tench around a lb in weight, plus Rudd. The pool is around half an acre in size and the depth varies from 1ft to 4ft. It’s an old school farm pool, which will take you back to your childhood 😊
The pool can accommodate up to 8 anglers and will be opened on Monday 19th June to members who book on to start with, so we can manage the footfall. You can do this via the Facebook group chat or contacting me directly.
This pool is going to take some time to mature and your feedback is important. So remember it’s a work in progress.
The future:
There is also a larger body of water on site which is being developed into a 1 acre match / leisure pool and a 3 acre specimen pool by the committee. This work is going to take some time. However, we thought the NAS members should know what plans we have for the future of the club.
A lot of ground work has been laid to ensure NAS can provide a variety of fishing for all our members in years to come. If you would like to help with the development of the site please let us know.
If you would like to see the project, please feel free to ask and I would be happy to show you around. Please refrain from exploring it on your own, as this would be trespassing.
Directions:

Instructions:
When you turn into the farm drive please drive carefully as there’s might be children playing in the farm yard or agricultural machine at work.
Once you are in the farm yard follow the map to the fishing pool parking area. If you have any physical disabilities you may park by the pool. If you do park by the pool, be aware that the verge is soft. So do drive carefully.
I would like to ask that all anglers are polite and respectful at all times on the property. Please take all litter with you and abide by the NAS rules.
Finally, if you have any questions please feel free to ask the committee.

Chairman.
