Wytheford Fisheries
This 3+ acre lake is situated in rural Shropshire (only 40 minutes drive from Nantwich). This is a well stocked lake and can be fished throughout the year from it’s numerous pegs. It is a perfect venue for all anglers offering the chance to catch roach, rudd, tench and several species of carp.
This venue also offers fishing on a stretch of the river Rodin, the river contains silvers, barbel and chub.
Directions
From Market Drayton follow the A53 west to the junction with the B5063 (Fox and Hounds on the corner) turn left onto Wytheford Road. After 1.6 miles turn right at the triangular island, in front of a low black building, before a sharp left bend. Follow the lane and as it bends to the right by a bungalow (Smithy Farm), go straight onto the farm track, which leads to the lake.
